Team Event
The combined North Down/Belfast Barbarians team reached the semi-final. In the group, they lost to EPL but beat Hot Club 'B' to qualify for S/F, which they lost to Hot Club 'A'.

IPL team drew with Birkhill 'A' & Birkhill 'B' but lost 1-2 to Hot Club 'A' and so did not qualify from their group.

Individual Event
Four N.Ireland players took part in the International Open for individuals:

Eoin Adams qualified from his group with a 1-0 victory over Susan Wright and a 1-2 defeat to eventual tournament winner, Dutchman Eric Verhagen. He was eliminated by Shorab of England in the last 16.

Kenny Beggs also progressed to the last 16, winning 6-1 against Belgian, Jos Cuelemans & 1-0 against Scotland's Adam Beattie, before losing 2-3 in extra-time to England's Peter Thomas.

Davy Clegg was in a tough group of four. He drew 2-2 with Max Wright but lost to Peter Thomas & Gary Moore.

Barry Spence drew with Alan Manson (Scot) but lost to Phil Redman (Eng) in his group and went out on goal-difference. He had consolation by winning the Plate, however, coming from two down to beat Davy Clegg 3-2 in S/F & beating Scotland's Susan Wright 2-0 in the final.
