CLUBNIGHT REPORT, 30th Aug 2004 There was a good turn-out of nine people for the last meeting of the season. One Barbarians' League match took place, Eoin Adams beating Georgia Lee 3-0. Donal Convery & Stephen Rodgers drew 1-1 in an Irish Premier League fixture. The remaining matches were friendlies. Simon Stewart made a welcome return and proved he will be a major contender for the forthcoming National Championships with a 1-0 win over Kenny Beggs, his 2nd successive victory against the current Champion. Davy Clegg continued his recent good form and will be among the favourites for both the Open & Veteran categories. Stuart McKinley, whose newspaper article was in the Belfast Telegraph, also had a run of good results, the most notable being a 0-0 draw with Simon.
