Irish Premier League
History

In 2003, John Moore formed the Irish Premier League Club, a cross-border initiative to enable players from North & South of Ireland to team up for FISTF Tournaments. They travelled twice to Belgium, although their main hunting ground was in the UK, with their best achievement being runner-up in Flint 2003. They also reached the semi-finals of Preston 2004, Dumfries 2004 and Milton Keynes 2004. Since 2006, however, the club has been less active and two of their main players, Kenny Beggs & Eoin Adams, transferred to Yorkshire Phoenix.

There was one League Campaign in 2004/05 when the club was at its peak, with 12 players.

Following a two-year period of inactivity, IPL returned to action at the 2008 Belfast GP, reaching the Final but just losing 1-2 to Yokshire Phoenix.
