Irish Premier League 2004/05

3rd League Meeting 28th May 2005
Dunmurry | Map

Northern Ireland's Kenny Beggs increased his lead to 15 points at the latest meeting in Dunmurry. There is a hot battle among the chasing pack, with only six points separating 2nd - 6th positions. Davy Clegg moved up to 2nd with two wins and a draw, closely followed by Barry Spence, John Moore, Joe McRoberts & Gary Moore. Gary, who was unavailable on the day, is the only player who can realistically catch Kenny, due to having five matches in hand.

It was another good day for John Moore, winning 3 and drawing 2 of his five matches, including a 2-2 draw with Kenny. Joe and Barry also boosted their points tally, only losing one match each. Not so good for Eoin Adams and Darren Territt, however, who didn't win all day, picking up just 2 points apiece.

Andy Fitzpatrick and Darren Moore were unavailable and will need to play some of their backlog of fixtures before the final league meeting in Dublin.
